Academy Uniform

We insist on an Academy uniform. Exceptions are made only in very special circumstances and only for a very short period of time. We expect parents, when buying clothes for their children, to make the Academy uniform the first priority. Items such as uniform, ties, badges and PE kits, may be purchased at competitive prices from Crested Schoolware (details given at the bottom of this form).

Except for one SMALL stud in each ear, the wearing of jewellery IS NOT ALLOWED. Facial piercings are NOT ALLOWED.

The wearing of badges and other logos apart from athletic awards and others approved by the Academy is also forbidden.

Please label all your child’s belongings with his/her name.

Uniform Swap Shop

As part of our Community Matters initiative, we continuously look at ways to support our families.

Following the success of our Uniform Swap or Shop in December, we will be rolling this facility out and hosting more of these events during this year.

At each event, you can come along and buy items of pre-loved uniform for a small donation. Alternatively, you can bring uniform items and swap them for something else. So, for example, if your child has outgrown their blazer or PE kit, you can swap it for a bigger one (subject to availability).

DO NOT SEND YOUR SON/DAUGHTER TO ACADEMY IN DESIGNER CLOTHES OR EXPENSIVE JEWELLERY AS THE ACADEMY CANNOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE OF THESE ITEMS. STUDENTS DO NOT NEED TO BRING MOBILE TELEPHONES TO THE ACADEMY AS STAFF WILL ALWAYS RELAY MESSAGES AND ALLOW STUDENTS TO MAKE CALLS FOR LEGITIMATE REASONS. MP3 PLAYERS & IPODS ARE NOT NEEDED IN THE ACADEMY AND AGAIN WE CANNOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE OF THESE ITEMS. DURING PE LESSONS ALL VALUABLES SHOULD BE HANDED IN FOR SAFE KEEPING IN THE PE OFFICE.

*STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAR CORRECT UNIFORM ON THE WAY TO AND FROM THE ACADEMY.
