Events The

both male and female players. You can fill out an application form
online through the website. Over the coming weeks there will be an open
evening for people to come and find out more information, as well as
training sessions and friendly matches for trialists. Dates, times and
locations for all of these sites will appear on our website, so keep
checking to find out more.
Congratulations!!
Well
done to Quentin Bromley who has now completed his FA Level 1 coaching
badge. Other members of the squad will be starting their courses
shortly.
First Aid Course
The
Academy players recently completed their 1st Aid qualification which
will help them with any future coaching badges they may undertake, as
well as providing another qualification.
Step in to Sport A
big well done to 10 of the Academy squad for starting their 'Step in to
Sport'
coaching courses with great reviews and feedback. The players have
started a qualification that will give them experiences in leading,
coaching and running sessions, while working with young people in the
local community. They have now lead some sessions with youngsters from
the local community and will continue to do so throughout the rest of
the academic year.
Cup Competitions
The
Academy team won their round of 32 and round of 16 matches in the West
Midlands Colleges
cup and will now play TCAT in the quarter finals. The game will be
played shortly, so keep checking the fixtures grid for dates and
scores. A hard fought game saw
the team go out of the ESFA National Cup 3-1 To King Charles
School in the
3rd round, as well as reaching the Wolverhampton City cup 1/4 Final
before defeat to Wolverhampton Grammar School. League Fixtures
We
have now moved in to the second half of the league campaign with 4
fixtures left to play, after a 3-2 victory in the last game. You can track our progress, results and scorers
under the fixtures tab at the top of the page.
