Money Matters
EMA or Educational Maintenance Allowance could be available for you in your 6th form studies!
It is means tested (that means it is dependent on how much your parents earn) but could entitle you to up to £30 per week. With 36 weeks in a school year that could be £1,080 per year (x2 =£2,160)
Plus there are at certain points £100 bonuses payable, there are five of these ie. £500 in potential bonuses. (£2,160 +500 = £2,660)
You can spend this money how you please such as on clothes, credit, driving lessons, trips etc.
All you need to do to qualify is:

Attend a minimum of at least 12 hours per week of lessons.
Payments are dependent on attendance, showing progress in your subjects and sitting all the exams you are entered for.
