Our Lady & St Chad

We believe that at Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Sports College, we are building a community where individuals can grow and fulfill their potential. We are ranked amongst the top 2% of schools nationally based on the progress students make from Year 7 to GCSE.

Pass rates are consistently high in all subjects and the number of students successfully applying to university has doubled in recent years. All staff work tirelessly to unlock the gifts of all of our students. This enables them to build self-esteem, confidence, and respect, allowing them to harness their power for the good of their community. This is reflected by the success of students in leadership awards.

As we are a Sports College we have used sport as a lever to bring success in all aspects of school life. Not all students have ability in or love of sports but all are given the opportunity to develop their own skills as leaders, organisers and supporters of others, which encourages young people to grow to be the best they can be.

The Catholic community is proud of the achievements of this outstanding school especially as students and staff reflect our global population. Miss Keelan believes that everything that the school offers enables them to "equip all students to take their place in an ever changing world and future".
