Department of ICT

The ICT department is a newly formed curriculum area staffed by a range of experienced teachers who can offer knowledge and skills beyond ICT. This enables the department to develop a diverse range of experiences for students which make use of ICT in its widest context and fully enhance the concept of ICT capability.

The department strives to develop student knowledge through a range of activities appropriate to the demands of the National Curriculum, yet relevant to children in our local community.

We have a number of ICT suites, each equipped with ‘state of the art’ machines and all rooms are fitted with data projectors and whiteboards enabling full interaction. All ICT suites are equipped to cater for individual use. The machines are installed with the latest software and are supported by the latest server technology.
